Conway BPAB

CAB works closely with the Conway Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board (BPAB) to make Conway an accessible town for all residents. BPAB continuously looks for ways to improve Conway’s walking and biking infrastructure (sidewalks, bike lanes, repairing roads, etc.). As such, it regularly solicits feedback about the ways residents and visitors use these resources.

Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas (BACA)

BACA is our regional bicycle advocacy group that serves the Central Arkansas metropolitan area of Little Rock, North Little Rock, Pulaski County, and the surrounding communities, including Faulkner County. Their vision:

We envision a future where Arkansans embrace bicycling as an integral part of our way of life; where bicycling is accepted as a safe, practical, and equitable means of travel; and where Arkansans recognize that bicycling creates cleaner, healthier, economically stronger, and more livable communities.

Want to join them in their mission? Get involved! Or, keep up with their latest goings-on on their Facebook page.

League of American Bicyclists

CAB also looks to implement, on the local level, the initiatives and advocacy efforts of the national bicycling advocacy group: The League of American Bicyclists. CAB board members regularly attend the National Bike Summit, and implement community events such as National Bike Month in May, Bike to Work Week, Bike to School Day, and support local community bike groups such as Women Bike Arkansas.
