Conway Cycling Project: Community Bike Repair and Refurbishment — A CAB, City of Conway, UCA and The Ride partnership

CAB’s Conway Cycling Project is our way of providing access to bicycles for all.  The Project repairs and refurbishes bikes for those who cannot easily afford repairs and bikes.  We also accept gently used bicycles.  Click here for more information and visit our Facebook group.

The Conway Cycling Project assists residents of Conway with bicycle repairs, maintenance, and safety instruction.  (Individuals who receive assistance with repairs are asked to donate for parts as they can.) The Project also takes in gently used bikes and refurbishes them for those who need bicycles.  If you have a used bike, contact us: cabcycleconway@gmail.com

If you need a bike, connect with a local non-profit who can contact us on your behalf: Conway Ministry Center, Soul Food Café, CoHO, Women’s Shelter, Bethlehem House, CAPCA, and others.

Goals of the CAB’s Conway Cycling Project

  • To assist Conway residents with basic bicycle repair and maintenance
  • To provide a convenient, affordable, and sustainable system of local transportation for the residents of Conway who cannot afford a new bike
  • To recycle old bicycles that would otherwise be discarded
  • To educate the community on bicycle safety, legal requirements, and good riding practices

Location and hours

The Conway Cycling Project is located at 1820 Old Morrilton Hwy, in the small building next to the Fire Station. This building is City owned and policed.

Check out our Facebook Group, Conway Cycling Project, for hours and other information.

CAB welcomes donations of used bikes in rideable condition.

Contact us at cabcycleconway@gmail.com if you have a bike to donate.

CAB also seeks volunteers who are interested in getting involved in the program. Volunteers need not be CAB members, nor even knowledgeable about bicycle mechanics. All we ask is that volunteers be willing to commit some time and energy to the program, and be willing to learn. Contact us at cabcycleconway@gmail.com.
